To keep up my skills, I do some online art contests. This was for the Monthly Gargoyles Character contest and the theme was do a Gargoyles picture based on a song. At the time, I had just finished a fanfic called "Tengu" and there was a scene where my two main characters, Ariana and Kirin, were skydancing that just fit the opening lines to the song "Moondance" by Van Morrison.

"It's a marvelous night for a moondance
with the stars up above in your eyes...."
